Blog
Our method. How our articles are made.
The OmniStay blog articles are prepared with the help of artificial intelligence, then checked against official sources and reviewed against how a property management business really works. Here is what happens before an article goes online, and after.
Who writes the articles?
Articles are signed “The OmniStay team”: the team that makes the software, designed by a property management company in business. We never credit an article to someone who neither wrote nor reviewed it, and we never invent testimonials, reviews or anecdotes.
How is an article prepared?
- The topic. A question that hosts and property managers really ask, based on what they search for and the questions put to our assistant on this site. A question already covered by another article on the blog is set aside.
- The writing. The AI (Claude, by Anthropic) prepares a first draft with our guidelines: answer first, give concrete examples, only write a figure or a rule with its source.
- The fact-check. Every figure and every rule is looked up on an official source: the government and legislation websites of the country, tax and social security authorities, or the platforms’ help pages for their own rules. Anything not confirmed is removed, or the article waits for a human review.
- The checks. No duplicate of another article, no stock phrases, our rules respected (nothing announced for later, no price copied out), then a quality score. Below the threshold, the article waits for a review.
- Publishing and follow-up. Every article is dated “Up to date as of…” and lists its sources. Every week, older articles are checked again, for example when a law changes; the date only changes if the content has really changed.
What do we never do?
- Publish a fake review, testimonial or quote.
- Change an article’s date without changing its content.
- Talk about a competitor without a source: our comparisons are based on each vendor’s own website, and dated.
- Copy the same page from one city to the next: a city only gets its own article if its rules are genuinely different.
- Announce an OmniStay feature for later: the “In OmniStay” box only describes what works today.
And articles in other languages?
In each language of the site, articles are written directly for the country (United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Greece), with its rules, and checked against its official sources. They are not translations from French: two articles are only linked as translations of each other if they truly say the same thing. The practical guides, on the other hand, are translated from French and cover French rules.
Spotted a mistake, or a rule that has changed?
Write to us at bonjour@omnistay.ai: we’ll correct the article and update its date. Our articles inform; they don’t replace advice from an accountant, a notary or a lawyer.
